I like the toaster ovens, but they just take up too much room. I go with an oversized toaster -- I'm not that picky about toast -- and a countertop convection oven for everything else. It was worth every penny.

Depending on the thickness of the bread, it will have a tendency to lean a bit which can cause a bit of uneveness. Don't know how fussy you are. I'm a fan of toaster ovens, though - really versatile and consistent, even browning.

Are there any drawbacks to getting a bagel toaster instead of a regular toaster? We eat toast and bagels pretty regularly.
