You might also work on weatherstripping windows and exterior doors for your garage and then the space between the garage ceiling and your floor.

Add insulation and weatherstripping to your garage and a space heater to your bedroom. Add a fan to your bedroom in the summer.

are there gaps between your garage doors and the ground? that's a big source of cold air for a garage - as well as a way for rodents to get in. if you have that problem, maybe you could start by sealing that area and see how much it helps. you can get strips that attach to the bottom of the doors that are designed for this use.

i don't know about inexpensive options, but radiant heat for the flooring would be great. or insulating the garage, and if insulating doesn't help enough, heating the garage. cheap option might be a space heater?

oiur master bedroom is directly above our unheated garage. It's much colder in there than the rest of the house when the weather is cold. what do you think my options are?
