If you are installing them for the first time, just spend the time and the money making them match! It is an investment on your house and worth doing it!

It would really bug me if they didn't match. It's one of those things that you think isn't going to pop out, until you see it. Then it does. Good luck!

I would want them to match for sure. If you are getting it new you may as well do it right from the beginning. If you are stressing over it this much now, It is one of those things that will always nag at you down the road if they dont match.

We have chrome interior door hinges because we asked for it. Our builder said if we didn't mention it to him he never would have asked for it. I guess he forgot anyway because we got brass that was painted over. We didn't realize this until a few weeks after we moved in so it was not that big of a deal. We obviously want to change them in the future.

I have been stressing over this for weeks, but now I am wondering does it really matter?
We were thinking about satin nickel doorknobs. But our prehung Simpson entry doors most likely have brass hinges. I looked it up online but could not find what color Simpson uses. If anyone has satin nickel and some helpful advice that would be great!
