i think it sounds good because you know she actually wants it. i've been told by my wife to get her this fancy kitchaid mixer - http://www.builderssquare.com/xp_231775-KitchenAid_Artisan_Series_KSM150PSTG_5_Qt_Stand_Mixer.aspx. apparently the color is very important so that's all i have to worry about getting right.

my wife has wanted a rustic looking boot bench with a matching mirror for a long time. is that ok for a valentine's day gift, or is it not romantic enough? i could get jewelry like always, but this might be more of a surprise and i know she actually wants it.
