It's expensive, but your best bet is going to be to replace the doors. Rats are pretty clever, so I'm pretty sure they're going to find a way around the insulation pretty quickly.

Rats are pretty clever, so you may want to use a product like Shake Away (a product used in gardens to mimic predators' scents) in addition to your new insulation.

i think there are insulating strips available to attach to the bottom of the doors. good luck.

i think rodents are getting in my garage, and then my house, through the gap along the bottom edge of my garage doors. i'd hate to have to buy new ones. any thoughts on solutions? thanks.
