Yeah, but just sprinkling dry powder doesn't usually cut it. Here's one recipe for roaches: 8 ounces powdered boric acid 1/2 cup flour 1/8 cup sugar 1/4 cup cooking oil or bacon drippings Put everything in a jar lid, near a high traffic roach area.

Hi, I've found that Boric Acid has been really useful at decreasing the number of roaches that i've found at my apartment (trust me at first it was awful!!!). Apparently, it dessicates the roaches (dries them out)... and they even carry back some of these drying elements themselves to the nests. You can often find this powder at home depot and similar stores. Just make sure you don't apply near food areas. I've found it really helped my "really annoying" "water bug" <aka "big *** roach"> <shudder> problem...

That's exactly what I did, I changed the brand of the bomb so they would not be inmune to it! So far they have disappeared from my apartment and that is something that really makes me happy!

Do the bombs, then repeat but use a different brand so the little buggers don't build up resistance. Once everything is manageable, put out the roach motels. (Chances are a fair number of roaches simply fled into your neighbors' apartments). You don't want them to be able to make a comeback.

I rented my apartment for a while and had the terrible luck of having ... well, tennants that were pigs! They had roaches in my apartment, and that was terrible! I tried the exterminator, but it was taking too long, so I took drastic measures. I put 4 "bombs" in there, and got rid of most of them, but I had to repeat the procedure, and of course clean, clean and clean all over. After 3 weeks, all of them were gone! (The exterminator said it would take like 2 months) What's your experience with this stuff?
