Glass blocks outside?

Pick up some design books -- you can still make them look trendy, but you need to do your research.

I don't think too many people are using them these days, so probably your biggest concern is that they may look outdated.

We are on a fairly high-traffic road. We are considering adding glass blocks to our front porch to add privacy without cutting out too much light. Anybody know the ups and downs of this type of project?
