Half the house hot, the other half cold

It sounds like it's about time to buy new A/C. My guess is that yours is getting old and worn out and doesn't have enough power to blow air through the whole house any more.

If it is the first time is happening, then there might be something wrong with the orientation of the vents, or if it is central air, then something is blocking the air in other areas. If it always happened, then you might need to get another AC. Depending on the size of the rooms, one AC is enough.

Something is wrong with our AC. The temperature in the front half of the house is comfortable. The back half is about 10 degrees hotter. Any ideas on what could be going on?
