Microwave smells like smoke

User: mike Posts 50	Posted: 10/31/2007 1:35:31 PM My kid nuked some popcorn and the bag was defective. Next thing you know there was black smoke billowing out. We cleaned the inside of the microwave with baking soda and then lemon. But the smoke seems to have gotten sucked into the fan and now each time you cook and open, there's kind of a smoky smell. Anybody have any ideas on how to clean this up.
