Pet friendly ant-poison?

You can also mix up boric acid with sugar water into a paste. It takes care of ants quite nicely.

You can also try pouring boiling water onto the mounds. It isn't perfect, but it does help keep them under control.

We used to mix boric acid with honey and peanut butter and put it in a pvc pipe. The dogs couldn't get in, the ants could. I'm not sure if it would work for all ants or outside.

We have a couple of dogs who get into everything. We'd like to find an outside ant poison that won't affect the dogs. Any ideas?
