One of my friends is building her house in Houston, TX. She contracted a company that has pre-fabricated houses and they adapt somehow to her needs. It could be a little cheaper since the protocol for building is approved already. I would rather design my own, with a friend who is an architect to do exactly what I want. I would take longer time too, but I think if I had the money, it would be worth it! What would you prefer?
