I think I'd pick and replace my cabinets first and then do the floor. Why risk it by doing it the other way?

My guess is that the small the tile size, the easier this project is going to be to redo. But that's just a guess.

Just tell the guy that is installing the tile. He can usually make a few minor adjustments so that it's no big deal if you do.

If you have the original tile to put then it will not be a major problem. But if you are thin king of a new tile, after all the cabinets are installed, then I see a lot of problems!

Help! My mother wants to tile the house. Down the line she may also decide to update her kitchen. How big a deal is it to do tile touch-up if her new cabinets don't fit the same footprint as the old? The kitchen is so small that we are talking a difference of inches...not the addition of islands, etc. It seems like a minor fix to me, but my dad's threatening to red light the whole project.
