well, um, do you really consider regular lighbulbs attractive, or are you just used to the way they look? trust me, if you want to do anything at all to help our environment, buying a light bulb is about as easy and painless as it gets. now going door to door for your local U.S. PIRG chapter, that's hard work, rewarding, but hard, i know from experience... edited by ecochick on 2/1/2007

Is anyone here thinking about switching over to these great energy-efficient light bulbs? The results would be amazing for our environment if every american home replaced one regular light bulb with a compact flourescent light bulb. Greenhouse gases would be cut drastically and we'd save staggering amounts of energy.
