Washer, dryer in the house or in the garage?

If you have enough space to put the washer/dryer in a place by themselves where the AC doesn't reach, then I think it would not interfere. But if you don't have the space, I would put them in the garage. But this is just my feelings, I'm no expert.

Any idea on how much you up your energy bill by putting your washer/dryer in the house vs. the garage. I live in South Florida, so I'm more worried about AC than heating.
