If you are going to sink a lot of money into it, make sure you get something that looks timeless. You don't want your expensive remodel to look outdated in a few years.

You might want to install a couple of outlets inside the cabinets during your redesign. They can hide the wires that seem to snake across so many of our counters.

Consider how often you like to redecorate too. If you change things out every few years, you might not want to go high-end. If you are planning to keep them until you die, spend as much as you can afford.

I wouldn't go with real wood in a bathroom. There's too much moisture so I'd be afraid of warping down the line.

I found that the regular cabinets for the bathrooms, are made with cheap wood. Is it worth getting the more expensive kind? Mine have lasted a very long time and they are still ok!
