As a guy, I'd say don't make it glow pink, but other than that I think most guys kind of expect that their wives will just decorate however they want.

Why don't you pick three options that you like and ask your husband which he prefers? Most guys just don't care that much, as long as they don't have to spend too much time picking it out.

I think you are going to have to give up on flowered bedspreads in order to keep the peace. Would you settle for a neutral bedspread with floral sheets underneath?

I've never met a guy who would object to solid earth tones or solid dark color bedding with a few feminine accents tossed in to soften up a room.

I guess you can compromise with the colors and still have your flowers and feminine touch. Maybe he likes it, but before doing anything, I would talk to him and agree on everything. Avoid posterior fights!

I'd go with earth tone bedding in solids and accent with subtle florals around the room. It gives it a feminine touch that's acceptable to most guys.

maybe you could find something with a pretty colorful pattern that is more about shapes or stripes rather than florals. that could be nice without being overly feminine. something subtle can also be a more gender neutral choice. there are a ton of choices here: http://www.builderssquare.com/Shop/results.aspx?Nu=P_ProductID&Np=2&D=bedding&Ntx=mode%2bmatchall&Dx=mode%2bmatchall&Ntk=SiteSearch&Nty=1&N=8001039&Ntt=bedding&Ne=8000000&Ns=P_Popularity%7c1.
maybe you could browse them together and come up with something. have fun shopping.

i'm redecorating our master bedroom, and i am drawn to pretty, frilly, flowery bedding, but this is my husband's room too. any thoughts on finding a style we'll both love?
