I would count on it being a little closer to a week. They are going to have to measure, buy, build, and stain.

I guess it all depends on the size of the deck. I saw shows of those "do it yourself" type, and building a deck your self should take you 3 days or so... But I guess with a contractor, 2 days would be standard just to the bases can get dry.

what should i look for in a deck building contractor? how long should it take to build a deck? it's for the ground floor. thanks.
