It's also better to hire them in the off season. When they have less work, they will often come down on price.

I hope you hired someone since the summer is practically over. For those things is definitely better to hire a professional. The only thing I do with electricity without a professional, is changing bulbs!

i'm hoping to put in central air before this summer. should i expect to hire an electrician as well as an hvac contractor? i want to start getting my estimates asap.
