Maybe you can add a trellis. Then you'd simply remove it in the winter when the snow plow comes through. Sorry I don't have a better idea...I live in Florida so white powder is most often sand, not snow.

i'd like to jazz up our driveway area, but need to keep in mind that our snow plow will be ripping up the grass/planting area along the sides of the driveway pretty thoroughly each winter. any ideas?
