Go to the garden center for help -- you need to factor in lots of things: How much sun the area gets, temperature, alkalenity of the soil, how much water you want to use. And all that stuff, really depends where you live.

how do i decide between different lawn seeds? i guess i need something tough since kids will be playing on it.
