If the doors are creaking at the places where they bend, put some wd-40 on them. That should help quiet them down a little. Tightening up the connections can help too.

Yes, yes, yes and a thousand times yes. Ours is whisper quiet. You could hear our old one even in the back of the house. Only household members who are hating life are our two old dogs who keep getting suprised by people sneaking up on them.

yes! we did that and it made a huge difference. if you are upgrading something you've had for years you'll love it! you'll also get sensors if you don't already have them, better remotes, outdoor key code pad, etc...

will opening my garage doors become more quiet if i just replace the door opener motors without replacing the old doors?
