A lot of it will depend whether your pool furniture will be under a covering or out in the open. If it's under a roof or awning, almost any furniture will work. If it's going to be out in the open, you should probably only opt for plastic.

I love teak furniture, but it's expensive and hard to come by.

i used a light tinted weather resistant stain on my cedar outdoor furniture. that extends their life by a lot.

cedar is supposed to be good and is insect resistant, but my cedar adirondack chairs look pretty bad after only a couple seasons.

what's the best quality material for outdoor furniture? i'm ready to invest in some quality pieces that will last more than a couple seasons.
