Start at the hardware store. They can help you narrow down the best options for you. If you start with an internet search, you'll just be overwhelmed with all the options out there.

This seems like a long time ago! I hope you could find the info you were looking for. I would go directly to a flooring place and find about brands, and then go on the net to find even more info.

it looks like i'm about to replace quite a bit of old wood flooring throughout both floors of my house. any thoughts on where i could get lots of good information? i need to get up to speed on options quickly so i can get moving on this. thanks.
