PRICE HISTORY
A unique firestarter consisting of a loblolly pine cone and a wick set into a wax base shaped like a muffin The wax bases are produced in several colors burgundy green brown amber and white The wax base is slightly scented WHAT ARE THE MATERIALS? Natural pine cones paraffin wax wicks and sawdust or wood chips HOW ARE THEY MADE? Hot paraffin wax and wood sawdust are mixed in a mold and while still very hot loblolly pine cones and wicks are set into the mold After cooling the product is removed from the molds HOW ARE THEY USED? To start your wood fire simply place one of the firestarters into the center and at the bottom of the stack of logs and light the wick The firestarter takes a few minutes to reach full burn and will burn for up to 30 minutes assuring the fire is well started These starters do not produce color effects as do our color cones WHERE ARE THEY USED? Pine cone firestarters should only be used to start wood fires including wood burning fireplaces and campfires They should not be used in gas log fireplaces They should not be used to start charcoal cooking fires DO THEY LEAVE A RESIDUE? Generally no but if there is any residue it will be a small amount of wax that is easily removed with the fireplace ashes The paraffin wax base should not be ingested but is very low in toxicity presenting no more risk than common candles
