Grab Bars can be damaged by rings and other objects. Scratches to the surface of a polished brass piece, in particular, might impeach the protective finish. An impeached surface could tarnish or discolor. For guaranteed durability in polished brass we reccommend PVD (physical vapor deposition) Brass available in 12", 16", 18" and 24" Chelsea Grab bars series.

Grab Bars have been tested to withstand loads mandated by the American with Disabilities Act & ASTM F446. It is the responsibility of the professional installer to ensure that the mounting area is secure and the proper mounting hardware is used.
