The 1-2-3 SWIM diaper swim vest is designed for use with babies from birth to 10 months of age and is recommended for use at home in the family bath, spa, and the back yard pool. Do not use the diaper swim vest in open waters such as rivers, lakes, and oceans.

Use the diaper swim vest in the warmth of the family tub. Your baby will benefit from the quality time spent with mom or dad. From conception to birth, your baby's first environment is "water". Protected by water in the womb, your baby opens his or her eyes and mouth instinctively. Continue this experience by introducing you baby to the Diaper Swim Vest early. Somewhere between four and six weeks of age is ideal, because the nine months spent floating in the mother's womb is still a vivid and exhilarating memory!

• Open the Diaper Swim Vest and lay it flat on the floor or counter top.
• Place the babies head in the groove of the head support, fasten the diaper pant and pass the vertical suspenders through the loop on the head support panel.
• The flotation head support is designed to keep the babies head and all breathing passages above water at all times. Your baby will quickly spit out all water that may splash into his or her mouth./li>
• When initiating your baby outfitted in the Diaper Swim Vest to the bathtub, place the babies head against your shoulder and place your arms under the babies body. Holding the babies legs at the knee, gently encourage a flutter kick movement.
• You don’t have to teach your baby any movement. Your baby will happily kick their legs and move their arms as they feel their way around the tub. Use the pull handle to gently move your baby around the tub.
