While limited in their application, these Dust Masks for Non-Toxic Dust are well suited to help reduce exposures to large dust particles, such as certain types of pollen. Their less efficient filtering helps make breathing through them easier. Their distinctive teal green color identifies them as for non-toxic dusts, versus the white color of MSA Safety Works Harmful Dust Respirators. Users appreciate the moldable metal noseband, as it helps reduce fogging on glasses. Additionally, the mask's single elastic strap is convenient to help position the mask over the mouth and nose.

Interesting Facts
Pollen's diameter is typically much larger than toxic dusts; therefore, the filter media can be made easier to breathe through. For toxic dusts, the filter media must have a tighter screen or an electrostatic charge to capture the smaller particles as the wearer inhales.
