The exclusive FiveStar Vari-Flame feature allows heat to go from a high of 14,000 BTU all the way down to a slow simmer at 400 BTU on open burner models. Heat settings are infinite, adjusting easily with Lo-Medium-Hi "click" controls. Plus, individual porcelain drip pans under each burner make cleanup easy. The FiveStar 36" cooktop features four standard surface burners and a large, professional-style griddle, or six burners. You can choose open or sealed burners. The gas-powered, thermostatically controlled griddle is a machine-steel plate, not a casting as on some other ranges, and includes a lift-out porcelain grease well that makes cleanup easy.
