Shun 9-in. Shun Steel Bread and Slicing Knife

From the Shun Steel line, this knife has a longer blade that's perfect when slicing through big loaves like a hero or submarine-style sandwich. Like the Samurai sword, the Shun blade is sharp and flexible, making it ideal for food preparation. The Shun Steel knife is a hard, flexible VG-10 super steel that's clad in layers of high-carbon stainless steel that protect the VG-10 and give the Shun its Damascus-look pattern. The Shun Steel knife also features the "D" shaped handle that fits nicely in the hand. An asymmetrical bolster is ground out more on the right side to provide proper finger placement.
