GE SmartWater Replacement Water Filter (FXUVC)

The GE SmartWater replacement filter cartridge (FXUVC) fits all GE SmartWater single-stage drinking water filters and many other brands of housings that accept 9.75 x 2.5 inch filters such as: GE GX1S15C, GE GN1S15CBL, GE GX1S01C, Culligan US-550, and Culligan US-600. It is interchangeable with all of the following filters: GE FXULC, GE FXUTC, and OMNI CB20. It removes the following impurities: 89% of MTBE, 99% of Chemicals/VOCs, 98% of Chlorine, 97% of Lead, 89% of Cysts, 89% of Mercury (6.5pH), 99% of Asbestos, and Particulates 0.5-1.0 micron. It does not remove flouride. GE recommends that you replace the filter every 6 months OR after 750 Gallons of water have been filtered OR if you notice a decrease in the flow of water or objectionable tastes in the water.
