Unique three dimensional flexible bristle discs form 3M are great for cleaning and maintaining hard to reach areas on platinum, gold, silver, copper, pewter and brass pieces. Embedded mineral abrasive is harder than most metals. Great for removing oxides-no need for messy compounds.These discs do not generate the same amount of heat as rubber wheels do. They can be used individually, or they can be stacked. Note: Bristle brushes up to 1" (25 mm) dia. - use with mandrel hole 1/16" (1.6 mm) or 1/8" (3.2 mm). (1.6 mm) or 1/8" (3.2 mm). Those of 2" (51 mm) & 3" (76 mm) are to be used with adaptor mount, our p/n 10.3541. Maximum operating RPM's for most applications is 15,000.

Grades 50 and 80 in green or yellow is used for fire-scale removal. Grades 36 and 50 in brown and green are used for heavy scale removal. Grades 120 and 220 in white or red is used for light oxide removal. Grades 36 and 50 in brown and green is for heavy cleaning. Grades 120 and 220 in white or red is used for light cleaning. Grades Pumice and 400 in prink or blue is used for semi-finishing. Grades 400 and 220 in blue or red is used for blending. Grades 120 and 220 in white or red is used for texturing. Grades 400 and Pumice in blue or pink is used for pre-polishing. Polish1 grade and Polish II grades in light green is used for polishing.
