This commercial-grade self-grounding floor box assembly includes a brass plate and screw caps that resist abuse and prevent foreign contaminants from entering the device. An 18-cubic-inch box and brass cap with satin finish are included, as are all mounting materials. The receptacle is constructed with an impact-resistant thermoplastic cover and body. The plate gasket and O-ring combine to seal out moisture and air-borne particles. The Floor Mount Receptacle Assembly meets all requirements of UL 514A standard, 2004 revision, for Metal Floor Boxes in wood floor and commercial 3/8-inch thick carpet installations.
