Zyliss Mandoline Food Slicer. The Zyliss Mandoline has a safety rail-guided system with a sliding track that permits a safe, easy and controlled back-and-forth motion over a V-shaped stainless steel blade. This action yields a quick and effortless slicing of vegetables and fruits in various thicknesses, ranging from paper thin to 1/4” thick. The Mandoline easily handles all sizes and shapes of foods, in small or large quantities. It quickly cuts or slices consistent, professional looking fruit and vegetable slices for hors d’oeuvres, side dishes, entrees, desserts and beverages.

The Mandoline includes the following:

• Unit Base with V-shaped stainless steel blade.
  
• 6 Slicing Inserts which offer 4 thicknesses (1/32” – 1/4”) and 2 Julienne (Strip) Blade Inserts (which provide 1/8” and 1/4” Juliennes).
  
• Inserts snap into V-Blade, making a size and shape adjustment in food slices possible.
