"Cute!" Date: 7/18/2007
"Not many realize that the light weight is a selling key factor of these glasses. When I was younger my mother would tell me that "the lighter the glass, the more expensive". Hand blown, and wonderful. Not for the heavy hand, they can break. Glasses for a nice drink of wine, not for unruly drunken guest ;)"

"THIN & BREAKABLE" Date: 6/26/2007
"They are VERY VERY FRAGILE!! I broke one just hand washing. I agree with previous comments, they will show finger prints, toasting is out of the question, and I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher. Beuatiful but not worth it."

"Great Feel & Long Lasting" Date: 4/15/2007
"I really like the feel of these ... very light. We use them most nights (red and white versions) & have been startled by how long they've lasted (3 of 4 are going on a year!) and that from someone who used to buy a dozen Spiegelau's at a time so we'd make it thru a year before reordering. I suspect it's the form factor ... they don't tip over, no long stems to hit the side of the sink, and a snug fit in the "glasses" area of the dishwasher. Some mention that they are fragile ... well light, elegant glasses are. But our experience indicates the initial reaction can be deceiving. "

"Thin and brittle" Date: 3/24/2007
"Cheers....not so fast!!! These glasses will shatter at first "clink". The glass is very thin and brittle and quite difficult to clean without breaking....don't even think of putting them into a dishwasher. Better go with more expensive brand. I will next time. "
