"This is a press that I will keep until I lose. The stainless steel container is well made and much sturdier than the glass ones. Even when it is empty you can feel the weight of it and tell that it wasn't made cheaply with plastic parts. The actual filter part is good with a stainless steel plunger and wire mesh. The 12 oz serving size is perfect for making a cup of coffee for myself."

It may cost a little more but I have two of these that have gone around the world with me several times and still are in great shape turning out great coffee.
