"Just like the V batteries, this is much improved" Date: 5/16/2007
"With this charger, I purchased a V18 battery pack to replace my badly aged 18 volt NiCad packs. I ordered one battery which I find to be a huge improvement over the old NiCad packs. The charger is much improved as well - packs that the old charger would not recognize now charge. The only negative is that the charger only charges 18 volt and 28 volt batteries. With the good quality of the new charger and battery pack, I'm looking forward to getting more of the Milwaukee V tools."

"Great upgrade charger for NiCad owners too" Date: 4/5/2007
"This charger is way better at topping off and keeping older Milwaukee NiCads charged then the older charger model. I highly recommend this as an upgrade to those using the older style charger that at least in my case would charge the battery then let it run down if it set on the charger unused for a week because it didn't have a proper top off trickle charge feature. This charger also seems to get a bit more juice into the Ni-cads as well, and of course it also charged the lithium ion batteries that are very powerful."
