"For smaller jobs, like the low handing branches on an evergreen tree, this works wonderful. I didn't give it a full 5 stars because it is prone to "throwin' the chain" if your using it on hard wood branches, i.e. oak. For the most part, it does the job we need it for."

"After 3 months of very light usage (maybe 20 small branches total), the chain now slips off on the first cut. The tensioner seems to be malfunctioning. Amazon won't exchange it, so I have to go through warranty repair. I would not buy this again."

"I have really enjoyed this product. I don't need a high powered chain saw for my needs, just something to help trim trees and bushes and break down the debri for disposal. While it can get clogged (especially when cutting the smaller debri), it is simple to clean out."

"This product worked perfectly, even when used by inexperienced cutters. We used it to take limbs off a fallen tree in our backyard before we called in the pros to do the heavy lifting. We estimate that we saved a couple hundred dollars by doing it ourselves. Easily paid for the gator. And the electric motor made it environmentally friendly and quiet. I've used gas chainsaws before; they are always scary and exciting. The gator was calm and cool and easy to use. Just remember to oil the chain as instructed. Otherwise, you can't fail."
