"great slow cooker" Date: 9/21/2007
"I have a KitchenAid 7 quart slow cooker for 1 month, and I'm in love with it. My husband loves it too. So far, I cooked stew, curry, pot roasts, etc, and it all tastes/cooks great!! I read other people's review about the leaks and cracks, but luckily I don't have the problems so far. When I clean it, I make sure I clean it with hot water first and gradualy change water temp to cold(so it doesn't crack)."

"Excellent" Date: 9/16/2007
"I had a Rival slow cooker and it always had "hot spots" that would burn the food. This is by far the best slow cooker I've had and cooks the food evenly, no "hot spots". I also love the choices of High, Low, Simmer and Buffet. The timer is also excellent, talk about the ease of cooking, doesn't get any easier than this. The quality is great, very well built and looks good on my counter also. It's expensive, but damn if it's not worth the money!!!!!!!!"

"so far, so good" Date: 9/4/2007
"The KitchenAid product looks great and so far works great too. I haven't useed more than a few times so can't give it more than 4 stars but could very well desrve 5. I had burned out a smaller, much less expensive product recently so was in the market for something larger for my growing family. This fits the bill and the stainless steel looks great. It cleans up well after just 3 uses. Everything has turned out delicious. I love the buffet setting too."

"Best EVER" Date: 8/23/2007
"I have had my KitchenAid slow cooker for about six months now, and I can recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone considering a purchase. I often cook for just myself, and other times for the family. Either way, this cooker is the one for the job. If for example you are doing a batch of boston baked beans, you'll be glad you have the 7-quart size. If on the other hand you are just making a supper for one or two, the 7-quart size is perfect for the job, especially if your meat selection is tall or wide. The cover and crock itself are both designed to work great together. The top of the crock is extra-wide and the top nestles inside the crock, so even when your pot is full, there is no chance of an overflow. The heat and time controls are intuitive and easy to use. Not only that, there is an online group of avid users ready and willing to share recipes. I love this slow cooker, and I am sure you will too!"
