"These are a great value for the money"

"I picked these up at a local hardware store and have been generally pleased with the purchase. They are pretty decent quality for a surprisingly low price. The cutting action is fairly clean with the usual tearout expected from this type of bit. Of course they are just spade bits, best suited to rough carpentry and home improvement tasks - but many times even us woodworkers don't want or need to use a forstner bit! I haven't had need to use every bit in this kit yet, but I was impressed with the array Irwin includes here. For the price I paid, I probably won't bother resharpening when the time comes. By the way, shop around! I paid less than half the price shown here for the exact same set."

"Nice job Irwin. These bores are fantastic. I've used them with my Milwaukee cordless and they do a great job. I've used them when cutting holes for electrical cords in furniture that did not have them, and for desks that I needed to run keyboard and mice cables through the top. They cut a perfect diameter hole in whatever you need them to. So far, they have not needed resharpening, and I've used the 1 inch piece at least 20 times. Very well made."
