"I spent a week going over reviews and searching for the right coffee maker. I did pick this, and several reason's it's going back! VERY small, did I say ,small, pot, it will make about 2 if your lucky 3 large coffee mugs of coffee. The water indicator was on the left, and you pour the coffee in the right side! I used my old crafe to put 10 cups of water into this and it was all the way to 12 cups on this one and I still had water left in my crafe! I then brewed a pot with the amount of water I put in the resivore, and when I went to pour a cup, I had coffee all over the counter and floor, the resivore took more water then the crafe!!!! The crafe lid is EXTREMELY small and next to impossible to get off.I think I am headed to a Cuisinart! Good Luck!"

"The Braun KF600 Impressions Thermal Coffeemaker is awesome! Whoever thought up this particular design knows what consumers want in a thermal carafe. The coffee really does stay hot for hours, the lid is easy to remove with perfect pouring, and the bonus gold filter and water filter...who could ask for more at such an unbeatable price. Three drawbacks that prevented me from giving it a 5-star rating. First, there is no cord storage, second, the opening in the top of the carafe does not allow for easy cleaning other than a good rinse unless you use a long-handled sponge, and apparently the only color it comes in is black. I would have prefered white. Someone also mentioned that it should have come with a timer, but I wouldn't use that feature anyway. Overall-- very reliable, makes great-tasting coffee, and the carafe keeps it hot all day."

"We got the Braun KF600 from Amazon about a month ago. We've made lots of pots of coffee and love it. It's beautifully designed, it makes coffee fast, the carafe keeps the coffee really hot (although we never let it sit for more than an hour or two), and the metal filter is really nice. My wife doesn't like ANY residue in the coffee, however, so when I brew a pot that she will drink I simply use one of our old 12-cup basket filters, put the ground coffee in it, and scrunch it down into the metal filter. This is no big deal to do, so I doubt I will ever need to buy any of the custom cone filters. We recommend the Braun highly!"
