"When we purchased the re-man 4 slice Cuisinart toaster for $17 we didn't expect much...however, we've been more than happy with the toaster...we even like the black color which matches our microwave and dark cooktop range...The toast comes out perfect every time unlike our old toaster oven which took forever and didn't do a very good job toasting...Did I mention that we can also toast bagels and thick pieces of Italian bread which fit in the wide slots...I suppose that Cuisinart would not offer these re-mans unless they performed up to their standards...We "toast" Cuisinart and Amazon for a great buy...jim gennarelli"

"The looks of this toaster is great, but I may have to send it back. Its only been used a couple times and is toasting uneven. I had one slice come out light on one side and dark on the other. Im going to have to check the book again and see if its a setting or something, say for like bagels or english muffins. Yesterday I used it and the right side didnt want to stay down , then it did and didnt toast at all. I was trying to make BLT sandwich's and was in a bit of a hurry cooking some soup also for my family and just pulled the bread out and toasted it on the side that was toasting. FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!"

"Good, basic toaster. Its form factor is actually less than a lot of 4 slice toasters so takes up less room on the counter. Very economical."
