"Yes, this is a pricey blender - but KitchenAid delivers your money's worth and more with this tour de force of a small appliance. You want perfectly blended smoothies? Done. You want silky purees? Done. You want to crush ice powdery enough to ski on? Double done. And don't even get me started on frozen cocktails. Spend your blender money only once and enjoy a product that will give you amazing results and will last a lifetime. "

"Makes Snow!"

"I stuck a few ice cubes in for fun and turned the blender on "HIGH" for about a minute and lo and behold - its so powerful - it turned the ice into snow! Obviously the six year old loved the snow. The blender is super easy to clean and extremely powerful. My wife at first was concerned about the jar not being clear because she would not know when things were blended but after trying it a few times she doesn't care as things are ALWAYS blended by the powerful motor! Highly recommended."

"Pluses 1. Powerful (large qty of frozen drinks, smoothies or hummus no problem) 2. Enough weight to be stable 3. Stainless pitcher Minuses 1. It is fairly noisy (reason for 4 stars) Gone through several blenders, I think this one will last for many years. "

"Kitchen Aid Pro Line Bar Model - What a blender!"

"This item is pricier than most, but what a job it does! We spent the extra money hoping that we could finally get a blender that would make "bar-quality" frozen drinks. This blender delivered! Within moments, the ice is processed into a smooth, even consistency - no strain on the blender. The stainless container and efficient design make clean-up very easy. We definitely recommend this blender."
