| "A big disappointment." |

"I received the system on June 2, 2007, and by July 25 the red light had come on indicating that the filter needed to be changed, even though I had drawn no more than about 1 gallon of water per day. I tried to purchase a replacement filter but found that none of the stores which carry Brita products sell this particular model or its filters. I then called Brita customer service and was told there were no filters for this model being sold by stores in my neighborhood (I live in Los Angeles!!). I was told I could order filters by calling an 800 number, but of course would also have to pay postage. When I declared that this was not an acceptable solution, and after much haggling, the customer rep agreed to replace this model with model I had used previously and without any trouble for about three years."
