"HUNTER FANS ARE FANTASTIC! A REAL BARGAIN FOR THE PRICE!" Date: 8/19/2007
"Check out my review on the other Hunter fan which you can move from room to room. I have 10 Hunter ceiling fans, and I just purchased this Hunter floor fan as well as 3 Hunter fans of a similar model (except you can easily move them from room to room). They are extremely attractive (I ordered the black ones), very, very well made, VERY quiet (as fans go), has metal blades that do NOT rattle and will last for years. You may think that this is an expensive fan; however, it is worth the investment. It really isn't an expensive fan considering the quailty of the Hunter brand. Actually, you will SAVE MONEY considering all of the cash you will spend in the long run replacing cheap, noisy fans. Now, I have 14 Hunter fans. I wouldn't go with any other brand. The fans arrived very quickly (within a week), and were well packaged. Oh, the 'blade guard' is sectioned in a way so it is safer for small hands. I am in no way suggesting that this is a full proof safety feature with regard to young children. YOU ALWAYS MUST WATCH OUT FOR YOUR CHILDRENS SAFETY. NEVER LEAVE THEM ALONE WITH THE FAN RUNNING."

"LOOKS GOOD BUT NOT DURABLE" Date: 7/7/2007
"This lasted about three years of only summer use. The motor burned out. This fan does look nice. It is hefty, but is not exactly a well made quality product. I had problems with the fan blade-it kept falling off. The blade is secured to the motor rod by small screw. Once or twice a season the blade would fall off. I had to remove the grill to reattach. Nothing too major, but I'd always wonder why this problem wasn't engineered out. I also believe this problem caused the motor to burn out. I think the blade fell off and lodged against the grill and stopped the motor rod from spinning. That being said, the fan looks good. I took the motor out and plan to replace the motor if i can find one that fits."

"Hunter Quality" Date: 5/26/2007
"High quality, easy to assemble, quiet on low speed, but still moves enough air. The final word--I would buy another one."
