"its a 102 bottles cellar if you have lots of 375ml bordeaux. (Lucky you) Ok - so I wanted something for my basement - never gonna look at it, even though its not terrible to view my wines on display through the glass. Here's the deal - this is from a Chinese company doing its best to make Western products. Eventually they will succeed - like the Japanese car industry. Think of this as a 1960s toyota (NOT the 3000GT either!) It does the job - in a klugey way. The door DOES reverse - though no diagram to show how, and machine screws hold the hinges to the sheetmetal in a way that makes you cringe at the thought of either removing them or re-attaching. We had to figure out that the entire top light array had to be removed first. It took three of us, with good tools, almost an hour and a half. Seals are - well - this 'aint a sub zero. And finally the light switch is INSIDE the unit. You have to open (and un lock) the door to see the temperature (displayed on your stand alone thermometer since they dont supply one) Terribly efficient, say wha'? Im sure North Korea had a hand in this design just to piss us off. STill it has held a steady 56 degrees for the last month or so. And can adjust well above and below that. Its DOING THE JOB! We'll see this summer. HOWEVER I wouldnt put it anywhere near my Sub Zero's upstairs. I might find a hardware revolution - a veritable COLD WAR - on my hands!"

"For the money its a good Cellar. The pictures all show a digital readout but it is not availible on the newest model. They give you a green light to show that the machine is running. You have to buy a thermometer, place it on a shelf and open the door to get a reading because you can't see it through the smoked glass. As to the 102 bottle capacity...maybe if you only store Boones Farm. Odd sized bottles consume additional space. Compressor is a little louder then the smaller Hair units, buy its livable. Not much of a choice in any units between $700 and $1000, so I justify it by saying this is a good compromise."
