"I have had this rotary iron for two months and absolutely adore it. Will admit that I like to iron and coveted this ironing machine for several years before making the substantial financial investment. I also have an Ironite Mangle that I purchased used about five years ago and although I still love the Ironite, the Miele is a major mechanical leap forward. What I love best about the Miele is the foot press that automatically controls the ironing plate. Also like the fact that the iron has three heat settings and actually gets hot enough to quickly iron my Italian cotton sheets. I love to sleep on ironed sheets and pillowcases and I can iron a King size sheet with the Miele in about four minutes. For optimal results you really need to dampen the cotton sheets prior to ironing - which I accomplish by spraying the sheets with scented linen water and seasoning in a plastic bag for about 15 minutes before ironing. The linen water (Vodka, Lavender & Peppermint essential oil mixed with water)really provides an aroma therapy effect. So if you have nice linens and want to keep them in excellent condition, the Miele is a must."
