"Awesome tool"
Date:
9/8/2007
"I have used several nailers including Hitachi. THis worked as well as any I have used. It is light weight and had two slight jams that were easy to clear out of the 15,000 nails it ate in its first three days of use. The two jams may have been (probably) from a bend in the nail coil and not the fault of the gun. Loading is super fast. I would highly reccomend."

"Great nailer"
Date:
7/28/2007
"I've been extremely happy with this nailer. I purchased it to do the roof on a 10'x12' shed, and couldn't have been more pleased. Pros: * The nailer is extremely comfortable * Loading the nails was a breeze * Skid plates protect the nailer's body * Using a small Porter-Cable compressor, not a single nail was left high * The nailer looks great * This is my 1st roofing nailer, and this job was my 1st time using one. It was easy enough to use that even a novice like myself could handle it. Cons: * There are other less-expensive options out there. From the other nailer's reviews, and my opinion after using this gun, I still think it's the best value. * The gun doesn't come with a quick-connect. I had to make a run to the hardware store to purchase one. A minor issue, but I can't understand why an adapter was not factory-installed... Buy this gun. You'll love it, and you'll be glad you didn't buy one of the lesser-quality options, or the higher-priced overkill's."

"one of the best tools I have ever bought!!"
Date:
7/6/2007
"I bought this nail gun to roof my house. I have used many of them in the past with mixed results. The best of them were very heavy, the worst of them jammed so many times it would have been faster to use a hammer. This one was a real surprise to me however. It is the best of all worlds. It is very light, the size is great, and during my roofing project of 3000 sq ft. it jammed only ONE TIME!! (And I am certain it was my own fault.) I found the nail depth adjustment pretty much useless, unless I was looking for a VERY small amount of adjustment. I found it is better to just drop your PSI about 10 PSI each time until you get the perfect depth you want. Other than that it was flawless. Easy to use, SUPER easy to load. I seldom ever heard my air compressor kick on, it is very efficient. I was going to list it and resell it when I was done, but not a chance now. I will keep this thing until I die! I just used it again last weekend to reside part of my sisters house. Just adjust the PSI and leave the nails out a tad. Its accurate placement of the nails made the job go super fast. This one is a winner for sure, and WELL WORTH the cost of it. You wont be disappointed. "
