"I hesitated with the 4 hp 18 inch blade, which is highly rated, but i went with that one. I can tell you I love my poulan, it is very powerful! It cuts like a charm... I was able to cut trees up to 12 inches in diameter, and I was able to cut a piece of trunk that was about 28 inches in diameter and I didn't have any problem at all. As with other chainsaws, you do have a little bit of oil leaking, but it doesn't bother me. I highly recommend it."

"I tried a Remington chainsaw. The chain fell off after two uses! I tried a Toro chainsaw. The first one cut for 3 minutes and started smoking and then froze up! I gave another Toro a try. This time it cut for 5 minutes and smoked and froze up! I went for the Poulan and ...glory be...a saw that works! This saw is light...cuts fast and easy and doesn't heat up! If you want a reliable chainsaw....I think this is it!"

"i use this saw for odd jobs i do some of my days off from work i have owned a few gas saws in the past this saw is light dosnt smell and has alot of power i use it to cut lims three and four inch thick i have cut a few trees ceder and oak mostly dosnt use alot of bar oil the saw dosnt feel cheap made i have also used it for 2 and 3 hours at a time dosnt over heat one last thing i would buy this saw to trim hedges its to big it has a hard time cutting small lims and twigs but great for lims and trees"
