"usefulness of the cornbread pan" Date: 9/12/2007
"This pan is too small for the recipes most families will be using. The main solution is to have two or three. Another solution is for the manufacturer to cast a larger one as long as there are handles at each end and not so heavy that muscle men are required. My preference in muffin/cornbread pans is twelve holes, but with enough weight to bake evenly and use a baking stone on the oven shelf."

"Great item" Date: 8/4/2007
"These muffins come out great! No complaints. Great size, I don't think I could eat more then one muffin with my meal. Also, if the pan was any larger I don't think anyone could remove it from the oven- it is heavy."

"The size is deceiving, but the product is great. It is also very nice for small storage space!"

"A note about the size..." Date: 3/1/2007
"This is not smaller than regular muffin pans. It's straightsided where regular muffin pans have slanted sides. This pan has muffin cups that are 2-1/2-inch-wide by 1-1/2-inch-deep. My regular cheap metal muffin pan cups are the same depth; at the bottom they are 2-inches wide while at the top they are 2-3/4-inches wide. It's actually an appearance issue, not a size issue. As for quality, it's from Lodge and it's cast iron. It's superior."
