"Powerful, consistent, light" Date: 8/20/2007
"I've used this nailer for a number of projects and it's been excellent. Case in point - crown molding. It's light, which makes it a lot easier to hold over your head while nailing off crown molding all day. The belt hook is also key if you need two hands to get the crown seated in just the right position before fastening it while you're on a ladder. After the install is done, you'll appreciate the clean countersink hole that this nailer leaves. Some nailers leave a little lip, or an extra dent that takes extra sanding and filling work to hide. This gun just leaves a clean-edged hole and the no-mar tip works perfectly. The only time the tip can be a disadvantage is nailing into some tightly curved profiles. You have to be careful that the tip isn't preventing the nose of the gun from being pressed fully against the work piece. (Then the nail may not be driven all the way in and countersunk.) No problems using the Porter Cable angled nails that you find at local stores. Loading was really slick once I found the little tab that helps to hold the nail pusher out of the way. My two gripes - 1. They didn't include a quick disconnect air fitting and the diameter of the fitting is a bit larger than most nailers sold at the mega-stores. 2. The included bottle of pneumatic tool oil doesn't seal well and can leak inside the case if you store it on its side."

"Awsome tool!" Date: 6/27/2007
"Speed, comfort and flawless operation all in one. First nailer I have ever owned or used. Lives up to all the review praise and then some. No, absoluely no, problems with this gun even in the hands of a novice carpenter."

""Reputations"" Date: 5/28/2007
"Milwaukee has an impecable reputation for quality. This trend did not stop here. Super light weight, plenty of nail driving power, yet delicate as a dandy lion. I just finished a complete kitchen remodel , Including Hardwood floors at the end rows where you can't get the Pneumatic Flooring Cleat Nailer in. Baseboard, Crown Molding, Cabinets, spacers, Door Moldings etc.etc. I jambed it a couple of tiimes (my fault) eezy peezy, just snap the lever on the front remove the jambed nail and off to the races we go. Quality comes with a price my friends, play it cheap it's gonna come back and bite you in the A**. I invest in quality tools to insure my customers are completely satisfied with the work I perform. A happy customer will inevitably refer you to your next job and then the next. Quality tools = Quality job. My Name & Reputation in the field of carpentry are all I have. "And that's the Bottom Line!" "Happy building my friends" G.L. Davis Carpenter"

"You Get What You Pay For..." Date: 5/13/2007
"This was my first pneumatic tool purchase and (as a beginner) I found the 7140-21 very easy to load and use. Quality and durability are important to me so I was willing to spend a little more. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Milwaukee tool in the future."
